On August 20th, 2003, the FCC passed new rules as part of the "Triennial Review". These new rules block line sharing and give the local phone monopolies exclusive use of customer-financed fiber optic networks.

Teletruth has filed with the FCC, the White House, and others in an attempt to make the public aware of the harms this law will have.

The Small Business Administration's Office of Advocacy has filed with the FCC twice, requesting that the Agency take into account the thousands of Small Internet Providers who would be harmed by these new rules.--- They've been ignored.
